Why Niagara?
“I chose Niagara because of how much the team made me feel welcome. Also, the smaller class sizes make it easier to get more assistance and attention from professors.”

2011-12 (Junior)
Member of the 200 and 400 medley relay team that set a new Niagara record as a junior...Placed 10th in the 100 yard butterfly event at the 2012 MAAC Championships.
2010-11 (Sophomore)
Member of the 200 medley relay team that broke the Niagara record as a sophomore...Part of the 200 free relay team that set the new Niagara record with a time of 1:25.40, good for 10th place at the 2010 ECAC Championship meet.
2009-10 (Freshman)
Won the 100 fly and 200 fly three different times during the 2009-10 season...Placed second in the 200 IM against Fredonia.

Born in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla....Son of Debbie Sawma...Has two siblings, Daniella and Santana...Majoring in accounting.
