Before Niagara
Played in 71 games during her two years at Syracuse, scoring her first collegiate goal in 2009 against Rensselear...Team captain and Most Valuable Player senior year at Nichols...Also lettered in soccer, where she earned second team All-Catholic and second team all-metro...Her Buffalo Bisons team won the state championship six times and went to nationals seven times.

Born in Buffalo, N.Y....Daughter of Scott and Tricia Welch...Has three sisters...Majoring in biology.
