2010-11 (Sophomore)
Named to the 2010-11 CHA All-Academic Team...Played in 32 of 33 games...Scored two goals during the 2010-11 season...Tallied four assists during her sophomore campaign...Recorded two powerplay goals...Scored game winning goal against Wayne State (Feb. 18)...Scored her other goal against Mercyhurst (Nov. 6)...Took 25 shots.
2009-10 (Freshman)
Played in all 31 games...Had 11 points on three goals and eight assists on the season...Was fourth on the team in points...Scored one goal in back-to-back games against Robert Morris (Feb. 19-20) and earned CHA Rookie of the Week...Had one assist in three-straight games...Was fourth on the team in assists....Finished the season with a plus-1 rating.
Before Niagara
Played for the Thunder Bay Queens Midget AA program...She earned the team MVP award in for the 2007-2008 and the 2008-09 seasons...Was named team offensive MVP for the 2006-07 season...Was also an assistant captain.

Born in Thunder Bay Ont...Daughter of Oscar and Susan Bortuzzo...Has an older brother, Robert, who plays for the Kitchener Rangers in the Ontario Hockey League...Majoring in education.
