EDISON, NJ – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) announced Wednesday a total of 3,838 student-athletes have been named to the conference's 2025-26 Academic Honor Roll, including a total of 203 from Niagara.
To be eligible for the MAAC Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The Academic Honor Roll is open to both full-time and associate members in the MAAC. All 24 conference-sponsored sports are represented.
Women's lacrosse led all NU programs with a total of 30 student-athletes, followed by baseball with 22 and softball with 20.
Sacred Heart named 501 student-athletes to the Academic Honor Roll, for the second straight year. Marist was second with 379 student-athletes on the list, followed by Merrimack in third with 328 recipients, then Iona with 322 honorees, and Fairfield rounded out the top-five with 305 selections.
