Smyrna, Tenn.- Niagara won three out-of five individual matches on day two of the Music City Classic. Their total tournament record is 6-4 and they sit firmly in ninth after today's performances.

Emily Brock finished second in pinfall and was selected to the all-tournament team with a total pinfall 1149 through five games.

Game 1: Niagara 1058, UAB 1049

The Purple Eagles started off hot with a game one win versus nationally ranked UAB with a nine pin advantage. Emily Brock led the team with a 256 followed by a 221 from Jocelyn Smith.

Game 2: Niagara 1030, Aurora 831

Niagara defeated Aurora in the second game of day two. Emily Brock posted another strong score bowling a 249. Kate Ackerman added a 211 to help lead the Purple and White to victory.

Game 3: Niagara 1082, Indianapolis 823

Four out-of five Niagara bowlers scored over 200 points in game three, including a 257 from Emily Brock, surpassing her previous tournament high by one point. A pair of strong performances from Kate Ackerman and Sydney Skimmer who scored a 215 and 210 respectively.

Game 4: Niagara 881, Sam Houston 1006

The Purple Eagles drop the fourth match of the day to nationally ranked Sam Houston State. Emily Brock and Kate Ackerman led Niagara with a pair of 192's but it wasn't enough to collect their fourth win of the day.

Game 5: Niagara 970, Wright State 987

Niagara drops the last match of day two to Wright State despite another strong game from Kate Ackerman who bowled a 215. Jocelyn Smith bowled a 214 to cap off a day of strong performances from her.
