Bowling Wraps up Day Two of the Mount Shootout Going 3-2

Mount Joy, PA- Niagara won three of five of their traditional matches during day two of the Mount Shootout. Jocelyn Smith topped all Niagara bowlers in total pinfall on the day including four games of 230 or higher.

Game 1: Niagara 1026, Duquesne 1199
Niagara fell to the Dukes in the first traditional game of the day. Jocelyn Smith bowled a strong score of 257 in the loss to Duquesne.

Game 2: Niagara 1081, Wagner 563
The Purple Eagles soared past the Seahawks, collecting their first win of the day by a margin of 518-pins. Sydney Skimmer led the way for the second game of the day with a score of 242.

Game 3: Niagara 1138, Holy Family 884
The Purple and White picked up their second win of the day beating Holy Family, bowling their tournament high 1138. Four Niagara bowlers bowled over 230 including strong games from Sydney Skimmer and Kate Ackerman who bowled 239 and 235 respectively.     

Game 4: Niagara 985, UMES 1001
The Purple Eagles fell to UMES in the fourth game of the day. Niagara fell to 2-2 on the day by a mere 16-pins despite another strong game from Smith who bowled a 230.

Game 5: Niagara 1086, Molloy 915
Niagara finished day two strong with a win against Molloy by a margin of 171-pins. All five Purple Eagle bowlers bowled over 200 with a day-high 236 from Emily Brock. This win brings the Purple Eagles day two record to 3-2 and an overall tournament record of 6-2.
