Bowling Starts the Mount Shootout 5-0

Mount Joy P.A.- Niagara sweeps day one of the Mount Shootout winning all five of their Baker Matches.  

Emily Brock and Kate Ackerman led the way with baker averages of 23.8, and 23.1 respectively.

Baker Match 1: Niagara 1068, Mount St. Marys 990

Niagara won three out-of five games to take the first match of the day versus Mount St. Marys. The win included three games bowled 200 or higher, with a high game of 269.

Baker Match 2: Niagara 983, Morgan St. 967

Niagara defeated Morgan St. in the second match of the day, winning by 16-pins. The Purple and White scored over 200 in three out-of five games.

Baker Match 3: Niagara 1099, Alvernia 889

The Purple Eagles continue their winning ways versus Alvernia winning by 210-pins. Niagara finished the third match with three strong games of 250, 234, and 226.

Baker Match 4: Niagara 1045, Mercyhurst 1013

The Purple and White downed fellow NEC foe Mercyhurst winning by a 32-pin advantage. Niagara continued to stay hot, bowling four games over 200 with a match high of 232 in game three. 

Baker Match 5: Niagara 1040, FDU 894

Niagara finished the day 5-0 with a commanding win over FDU in the final match of day one of the Mount Shootout.
