Bowling Wraps up Day One of the NU Spring Classic

NIAGARA FALLS, NY- Niagara finished the traditional format of the tournament, winning three of five traditional matches played.

Kate Ackerman earned all-tournament honors with a total pinfall of 1054 and high games of 222 and 221.

Game 1: Niagara 909, Hilbert 882

Niagara wins the first match of the day led by a strong performance from Kate Ackerman with a 216 followed by a 190 from Jocelyn Smith.

Game 2: Niagara 987, Daemen 921

The Purple Eagles won their second game of the day versus Daemen by a margin of 66-pins. Kate Ackerman led the way with a 221 en-route to the victory.

Game 3: Niagara 894, William Smith 909

Niagara drops the third match of the day to William Smith by a difference of 15 in total pinfall, despite another strong effort from Kate Ackerman scoring a 222.

Game 4: Niagara 1019, Wright State 968

The Purple and White collected another victory versus nationally ranked Wright State with another strong game from Dakota Collins who bowled a 228 followed by a 214 and 196 by Kate Ackerman and Brynn Grant respectively.

Game 5: Niagara 827, Roberts Wesleyan 833

Niagara dropped their last match of the day versus Roberts Wesleyan by a slim 6 pin margin.
