Bowling Captures Co-Champion at the NEC Meet #2

Bethlehem P.A.- Niagara wins two out-of three baker matches on the final day of NEC Meet 2. The Purple Eagles finished co-champions of the tournament. Niagara also captures first place in the conference standings with a 9-3 record on the weekend.

Sarah Zulich and Emily Brock led the way with baker averages of 20.2, and 19.6 respectively.

Baker Match 1: Niagara 888, Monmouth 882

Niagara starts the final day of the tournament with a win versus Monmouth. After falling behind three games to none, they used a strong fourth game to carry them to victory by 6-pins.

Baker Match 2: Niagara 891, FDU 1016

The Purple Eagles drop their second match of the day despite a strong team performance. Niagara had a strong score of 201 in the third game but ultimately it was not enough to earn a second win.

Baker Match 3: Niagara 971, LIU 846

Niagara finishes off the NEC Meet with a win versus LIU. The Purple and White won four out-of five games to collect their second win of the day and eighth of the tournament.
