Franklin Township, N.J. – The NEC announced Wednesday afternoon that
Kate Ackerman gets tabbed with NEC Bowler of the week.
Kate Ackerman was named to the second all-tournament team as she finished 9th in individual at the Northeast Classic. Ackerman bowled 50 frames where she averaged 21.88 per frame, 27 strikes, 87% on spare conversion. In Baker Ackerman bowled 48 frames for a 21.6 average and 11 strikes. Ackerman was also named to the NEC Women's Bowling Prime Performer.
Abbie Derby was named to the NEC Women's Bowling Prime Performer. Derby at the Northeast Classic Derby was selected 29th in individual. In individual she bowed 50 frames where she averaged 20.66 per frame, 23 strikes on 50 attempts for a 46%. In Baker Derby bowed 79 frames for an 18.52 average and recorded a 45.7% on strikes.
Bowling is back in action on January 30-February 1 as they head to the Duquesne Invite.
