New Castle, DE.- Niagara finished the Northeast Classic winning all three matches against nationally ranked teams.
Brynn Grant led the Purple and White with a baker average of 22.3, followed by
Emily Brock with a 20.6.
Kate Ackerman also was named to the second all-tournament team.
Game 1: Niagara 4, Mount St. Mary's 1 (200-188, 245-181, 154-226, 215-213, 235-204)
Niagara defeated the Mountaineers in five games including four of five games scoring over 200 points, with a game high of 245 starting the day off 1-0.
Game 2: Niagara 4, Wright State 3 (215-189, 167-257, 182-170, 191-222, 202-182, 163-224, 205-182)
The Purple Eagles edge past the Raiders in a tightly contested seven game series. Niagara went back and forth with Wright State taking the series to seven games but ultimately the Purple and White came out on top to collect their second win of the day.
Game 3: Niagara 4, Duquesne 1 (175-169, 231-185, 178-165, 182-202, 189-167)
Niagara finished the final day undefeated beating Duquesne in five games. Niagara won the first three games of the round to carry themselves to victory in the final game of the tournament.
