Niagara won two of the five games against Sam Houston, but the Bearkats defeated the Purple Eagles by 108 pins.

The Purple Eagles closest match of the day came against the Penguins falling by two pins as the Purple and White won two out of the five games.
Baker Match 3: Niagara 896, Nebraska 978
In the third match of the day the Purple and White fell by a total of 82 pins.
Baker Match 4: Niagara 987, Jacksonville State 1096
Niagara played the number one team in the National Tenpin Coaches Association coaches' poll in Jacksonville State pulled ahead by 115 total pins
Baker Match 5: Niagara 887, Maryville 952
In NU's the final match of the day against Maryville came away victorious by 65 pins.
