Niagara University, NY - Niagara head coach Bill Boyle announced today that Jayden Brown, Julien Casimir, Grant Wyles, Niklas Kneller and Chase Dade have all committed to join the Purple Eagles men's soccer program for the 2025-26 season.
Brown comes from Cedar Hills, Utah where he plays for La Roca FC. Â
"Jayden is a versatile attacking player that can play on either wing. He will compete for time at the 7 & 11 positions but can play in the middle as well." Â
Casimir is a goalkeeper from Florida, a true freshman off a gap year where he played in Germany. He was also invited to the Guyana National Camp.
"Julien will compete for the GK position left by Jamie Barry and David Indra leaving. Julien is ready to push our GK unit to compete to get on the field this fall and will make all our GK's better."Â Â
Wyles is from the Toronto area, Whitby, Ontario and played for one of the most successful clubs in Canada Vaughan SC. He was also a starter at Division 2 Davis Elkins and was on the All-Freshman Team. He also plays for the Guyana National team.
"Grant is an experienced young GK that will compete for the #1 right away, and has all the tools to be an All MAAC GK."Â Â
Kneller is coming to Niagara from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa, where recorded nine goals and six assists. He has also played for Erie in the USL 2.
"Niklas has proven at every level he can produce as a forward. He will complement our team tremendously and is a leader on and off the field." Â
Dade is a redshirt freshman transfer from Loyola Maryland. A native of Buffalo, N.Y., Dade played for WNY Flash before heading to Loyola. At Williamsville North he was named to the All-State, All Western New York, and ECIC First Team.
"Excited to have Chase join our Niagara Family. We recruited him in HS, and we know what kind of impact player he can be. Another great player from the WNY Flash! I'm excited to see Chase develop and help our team get back to the playoffs, and compete for MAAC championships."
