NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y. – Niagara women's bowling starts their third official season under head coach Jeff Walsh on Oct. 4-5 at the Mercyhurst Invite. The Purple and White will play in eleven events, which includes two home events at Classic Lanes in Kenmore, N.Y.
Following its trip to Erie, Pa., to open the season, Niagara will travel to Youngstown, Ohio for the Youngstown Penguin Classic on Oct. 16.
The Purple and White will open November with its first home tournament of the season, The Niagara Brunswick Fall Open, on Nov. 1-2.
The first regular-season conference tournament will take place Nov. 7-8. Niagara then heads to the Hilbert Hammer Classic Nov. 22-23 to wrap up the fall semester.
Following the semester break, the Purple Eagles will resume action on Jan. 16-18 with the Northeast Classic hosted by Sacred Heart, followed by the Duquesne Invite Jan. 30-Feb. 1.
The Purple and White then head to Mount Joy, Pa. for the eighth Annual Mount Shootout hosted by Mount St. Mary's Feb. 6-8.
The second of two regular-season conference tournaments will take place Feb. 13-15 before NU hosts its Spring Classic Feb. 21-22.
The Purple and White wrap up the regular season at the WNY Cup Mar. 1.
The NEC Championships will take place Mar. 20-22 where the Purple Eagles will compete for a chance to go to the NCAA Tournament.
