Niagara University, N.Y. - Niagara Women's Bowling opened day two of the Youngstown State Penguin Classic, winning three of five traditional matches while Emily Brock earned All-Tournament honors, finishing fifth on the individual leader board.

Game 1: Niagara 1007, Nebraska 1089

Niagara drops the first game of day two despite several strong performances, Including Emily Brock bowling a 228 to start the day. All Purple Eagle bowlers scored 190 or higher which applied pressure on the strong Nebraska team.

Game 2: Niagara 972, Youngstown State 1082

Niagara had strong performances from Kate Ackerman and Emily Brock scoring 237 and 233 respectively. Ultimately the Purple and White fell to the Penguins by a difference of 110 pins.

Game 3: Niagara 934, Western Illinois 733

Niagara bounces back from the first two games of day two beating Western Illinois convincingly by a difference of 201 pins. Emily Brock and Kate Ackerman added two more excellent rounds to seal game three. 

Game 4: Niagara 1107, Lewis 823

All five Niagara bowlers scored over 200 points in game four giving the Purple Eagles their highest score of the day scoring over 1100 points overall. Abbie Derby a 221 in game four as well.

Game 5: Niagara 1011, Wright State 898

The Purple and White finished day two with a win against Wright State moving Niagara to 3-2 on the day and 6-4 overall. The game featured strong scores from Sydney Skimmer and Emily Brock scoring 235 and 227 respectively.
