LAKE BUENA VISTA, FLA. – Niagara men's golf recorded a team score of 300 (+12) and have a total score of 604 (+28) through two rounds of the MAAC Men's Golf Championship.
Sophomore
Velton Perry recorded a career-low of 71 (-1) to highlight round two of the MAAC Championship for the Purple Eagles. The Manilus, N.Y., native cut nine strokes off his round one score and moved up 10 spots on the individual leaderboard.
Freshman
Carlos Hernandez moved up eight spots after recording a 73 (+1), and now sits tied for 23rd overall at 149 (+5).
Ben Hebert, Niagara's leader coming into the second round, recorded a 77 and is now tied for 27th with an overall score of 150 (+6) over 36-holes.
Captain
Ben Fey and junior
Owen Gauder tallied a 79 (+7) in round two.
Niagara is in eighth place out of nine teams.
