LAKE WORTH BEACH, FLA. – Niagara men's golf recorded a team two-round score of 618 (+50) and currently sit in eighth out of eight teams at the Southern Invitational.
Freshman
Carlos Hernandez is tied for 19th after shooting two over in both rounds one and two for a 36-hole score of 146 (+4). He is currently 12 strokes behind the leader.
Fellow freshman
Ben Hebert is nine over, and in tied for 28th overall, after two rounds after shooting a 73 (+2) in round one, followed by a 78 (+7) in round two.
Ben Fey is in 39th with a two-round score of 158 (+16). He recorded a 79 in both rounds and one and two.
Velton Perry is +21 after two rounds of play. He recorded an 80 (+9) in round one, before shooting an 83 (+12) in round two.
Owen Gauder shot a 171 (+9) over two rounds.

• Niagara recorded 13 birdies through the first two rounds of play, with Hernandez leading the way with six.
• Hernandez and Herbert each recorded par on 21 of 36 holes of play.
• As a team, Niagara averaged 3.30 strokes on par-3's, 4.52 on par-4's, and 5.33 on par-5's.
