Marlie Dickerson scored 21 points and
Jordyn Williams added 15 as Niagara earned its first victory of the season, defeating Bloomsburg 81-60 on Sunday afternoon at the Gallagher Center.

How it Happened
The Purple Eagles (1-5) used a pivotal 11-0 run to close the first half, turning a 30-22 deficit into a 33-30 halftime lead. Williams sparked the surge with back-to-back fastbreak layups, while
Talia Dial, who finished with 11 points, added four during the run.

Niagara never looked back after halftime, extending its lead to as many as 24 points in the fourth quarter behind a blistering 60.6 percent (20-for-33) from the field in the second half.

Dickerson was efficient from the field, shooting 8-of-16 while grabbing a team-best eight rebounds. Niagara forced 39 Bloomsburg turnovers, resulting in 38 points. Â

Katelin Starr led Bloomsburg with 18 points on 8-of-9 shooting.

• Sunday marked the first meeting all-time between Niagara and Bloomsburg.
• Niagara's 32 made field goal attempts is its second-most in a game this season.
