NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, N.Y.- The Niagara Purple Eagles (6-4-3, 5-2-2) emerged victorious against Holy Cross at Dwyer Arena on November 16, 2024, by a final score of 3-2.

How it Happened
Noah Hackett opened the scoring for Niagara at 09:22 in the first period with an even-strength goal, assisted by Brett Rolston and
Alex Murray.
Jay Ahearn extended the lead in the second period at 16:45, capitalizing on another even-strength opportunity with assists from
Tyler Wallace and
Alex Murray.

In the third period,
Glebs Prohorenkovs secured what would prove to be the game-winning goal at 08:12, with
Shane Ott and
Jay Ahearn providing the assists. Goaltender
Pierce Charleson, who was named first star of the game, delivered an outstanding performance with 40 saves, including a stellar glove save in the third to keep NU ahead by one.Â
