BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Niagara University men's golf team finished 16th out of 17 teams at the Matthews Auto Collegiate Invitational held at The Links at Hiawatha Landing on October 6-7

The Purple Eagles posted a two-round total of 615 (+39), with scores of 307 in the first round and 308 in the second.

Ben Hebert led Niagara with a total score of 153 (74-79), tying for 63rd place individually.
Alfredo Migliorini followed closely, tying for 72nd with a 155 (79-76).

Andres Rodriguez and
Ian Kozlowsky both carded 157s, tying for 80th place. Rodriguez improved significantly in the second round with a 74 after opening with an 83, while Kozlowsky posted rounds of 78 and 79.

Robert Derhodge rounded out the Niagara lineup, finishing tied for 86th with a 158 (76-82).

Sacred Heart University won the tournament with a team score of 563 (-13).

Niagara will close out the fall portion of its schedule on Oct. 13-14 with a trip to Lewisburg, Pa., for the Bucknell Invitational.
