Coral Springs, Fla.—On Friday, the Florida Panthers announced their development camp roster for their upcoming development camp. Niagara senior defensemen Josef Mysak will participate in the camp as one of just 12 skaters who played in the NCAA last season.
Mysak is entering his senior season with the Purple Eagles and has suited up in 89 games in his first three seasons with the Purple Eagles. In 2022-23 he set a career high in games (39), goals (three), assists (14), points (17), and shots (64).
Against RIT on Feb. 11, he had a career high three assists against RIT. From Jan.13 to Jan. 21, he notched a four game point streak while also having a stretch of 11 points in 10 games from Jan. 13 to Feb. 11.
He becomes the first Purple Eagle since 2019 to attend a NHL Development Camp when Ludwig Stenlund (New York Islanders), Noah Delmas (Carolina Hurricanes), and Eric Cooley (Buffalo Sabres) went to Development Camps.
The camp will run from July 10th to July 14th at Panthers IceDen in Coral Springs, Florida. All sessions are open to the public.
