APPALACHAIN, NY – The Niagara men's golf team finished 12th out of 14 teams at the annual Matthews Auto Collegiate Invitational at The Links at Hiawatha Landing.
Ben Fey was NU's top performer, finishing four over par and tied for 37th with a two-round score of 148, including a 76 in Monday's round.
Freshman
Carlos Hernandez placed tied for 47th after shooting five over (77) on Monday. He finished with a 36-hole score of 149.
Owen Gauder took three strokes off his round one score of 78 with a 75 on day two, finishing nine over with a score of 153, tying for 61st.
Ben Hebert shot an 82 in round two, finishing the two-round event tied for 67th with a score of 156. Also tying for 67th was
Ian Wagner, who shot a 77 in round two.
The Matthews Auto Collegiate was Niagara's final event of the fall.
