APPALACHIAN, NY – A team score of 296 in round one of the Matthews Auto Collegiate Invitational has Niagara in 10th place out of 14 teams.
The Purple Eagles are being led by
Carlos Hernandez and
Ben Fey through 18 holes as the duo recorded a 72 and are tied for 17th after day one.
Freshman
Ben Hebert is tied for 34th and two strokes behind his teammates after shooting a 74 in round one.
Owen Gauder sits tied for 68th with a 78 and
Ian Wagner tied for 74th with a 79.
