Box Score MORAGA, CALIF. – The Niagara men's soccer team got goals from Federico Cugge and Rodrigo Almeida but fell to Saint Mary's 3-2 Thursday afternoon in non-conference men's soccer action.
 
Game Recap
First Half
• Saint Mary's broke the scoreless tie with a goal in the 28^th minute of play as Bastian Toelhoej sent a rebound into the high left side of the net.
• Rodrigo Almeida put a shot on goal in the 43^rd minute but Kas Oladapo, the Saint Mary keeper was there to make the stop.
• Niagara took a total of four shots in the first 45-minutes of action.
 
Second Half
• Federico Cugge found the lower right corner of the net following a corner from Stephen Hasse to even the score at 1-1 in the 46^th minute.
• Three minutes late Luigi Boa Morte found Almeida to give NU a 2-1 lead.
• Saint Mary's would tie the game in the 56^th minute and score the game-winner in the 73^rd.

• Savoni got the start in goal for NU, making four saves on 19 shots faced.
• Cugge recorded is fifth career goal in the loss and has scored at least one goal each season as a Purple Eagle.

• Hasse earned his 10^th career assist on Niagara's first goal, the most on the current roster.
