NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, NY – The Purple Eagles capped off their undefeated weekend with a pair of wins over MAAC foe Rider Saturday at Village Glen Tennis Courts.
The women took their dual 5-2 while the men walked away with a 7-0 victory against the Broncs.

Women's Singles
• Niagara took four of the six singles competitions against the Broncs.
• Elena Mayet took the match on court one, defeating Koster, 6-1, 6-2
• Rider's Thuilot defeated Coral Rodriguez 6-4, 6-3 in the No. 2 spot.
• In No. 3 singles, Megan Gamble won her second-consecutive singles match with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Oppenheim.
• Rider's Garofoli and Jaida Borg went three sets with the Bronc coming out on top 3-6, 6-2, 10-9 on court four.
• Erika Gonzalez continued her excellent season in the No. 5 spot with a three-set win over Ceccarelli, 2-6, 6-0, 1-0 (5-0).
• Freshman Mercedes Velasco dispatched Garcia, 6-1, 6-2 in No. 6 singles.
Women's Doubles
• The Purple Eagles swept the Broncs in doubles.
• Gamble and Gonzalez won the No. 1 doubles dual aginst Koster and Garcia 6-1.
• In No. 2 doubles, Mayet and Velasco defeated Thuilot and Oppenheim 6-2.
• Rodriguez and Madigan Humiston won their No. 3 doubles dual over Garofoli and Ceccarelli 6-4
Men's Singles
• Niagara didn't surrender a set in its 7-0 win over Rider.

Trevor Masi took down Salar Carrera 6-1, 6-2 in the No. 1 dual.
• In the No. 2 position,
Manuel Alonso defeated Komosinski 6-1, 6-4.
• No. 3 singles action saw
Tanner Bedard pick up a 6-2, 6-1 win over Ganeshan.

Jorge Sedeno topped Lachmanen 6-1, 6-4 on court four.

Gurustat Makkar won his No. 5 singles dual over de Jaraiz Garcia 6-3, 6-1.

Eduardo Villalpando entered the sixth position for Niagara and defeated Salazar 6-1, 6-2.
Men's Doubles
• Masi and Bedard beat Salar Carrera and de Jaraiz Garcia 6-1 in the No. 1 doubles competition.
• In No. 2 doubles, Alonso paired with
William Gothlin defeated Ganeshan and Lachmanen 6-3.
• Lastly, Sedeno and Villalpando picked up a 6-1 over Komosinski and Fredrickson 6-1.
