NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, NY – The Purple Eagles will begin a stretch of three road games in five days on Tuesday, Jan. 18 with a rematch aginst Rider at 7:00 p.m. from Alumni Gymnasium in Lawrenceville, NJ. Niagara will then travel to Monmouth (Thursday, Jan. 20) and Marist (Saturday, Jan. 22) for a pair of 7:00 p.m. contests.
Last Time Out:
• Niagara fell to Rider on Sunday, Jan. 15, by the final score of 92-70.

Kyra Grimshaw scored 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds in the loss.
•
Angel Parker added 18 points, five assists, and four steals.
• Niagara took a season-high 79 shots, making 38 for a 38.0 percent mark from the field.
• The Purple Eagles forced 23 turnovers and have now forced 20 or more turnovers in 12 of 13 games this season.
• Saturday marked the fifth time this season that the Purple Eagles registered 15 or more steals in a game.

• Niagara leads the MAAC in nine different statistical categories, including points (70.9), assists (13.8), offensive rebounds (16.8), forced turnovers (25.23), and steals per game (13.3).
• On the season, Niagara is shooting 37.0 percent from the field, 25.1 percent from 3-point land, and 69.3 percent from the free-throw line.
• Niagara currently leads the MAAC in free throws made (187) and free throw attempts (270).
• The Purple Eagles are led by junior
Angel Parker, who averages 15.7 points, 5.6 assists, and an NCAA leading 4.5 steals per contest.
• In the last five games,
Kyra Grimshaw has averaged 13.2 points and 5.9 rebounds per game. The senior scored a career-high 23 points against Canisius (Jan. 9) and 20 points at home against Rider (Jan. 15).

Maddy Yelle has been the Purple Eagles' most consistent scorer as the senior leads the MAAC with a 55.8 percent clip from the floor. The Geneva, Ill. native, has made 53-of-95 shots this season.
• Niagara's leading rebounder is
Aaliyah Parker, with 5.6 boards per contest. The younger of the two Parker sisters has two games with 10-plus rebounds and seven with at least five.

Olivia Mason is one of the Purple and White's most consistent contributors this season. The forward is currently averaging 5.4 points and 5.2 rebounds per contest.

Ally Haar leads the team with 17 made 3-pointers and is currently shooting 21.0 percent from 3-point land. Grimshaw leads the Purple Eagles with a 45.0 percent mark from deep.

Lore Porter is playing a team-high 20.0 minutes off the bench, averaging 4.7 points per game.
•
Sydney Faulcon has started all 12 games the Purple and White, scoring 5.9 points and grabbing 4.3 caroms per contest.
Series History vs. Rider
• Saturday's loss to Rider evened the all-time series between the Purple Eagles and Broncs at 27-27.
• Rider is 8-2 over NU in the last 10 meetings.
• The Broncs own a 16-10 advantage over Niagara at Alumni Gymnasium.
Series History vs. Monmouth
• Niagara has a 7-8 record all-time against Monmouth dating back to 2014.
• Thursday will mark the first meeting between the two teams since Feb. 20, 2020, or 697 days.
• Niagara swept the 2019-20 season series with a 62-61 win at home and a 73-70 win on the road.
Series History vs. Marist
• Marist leads the all-time series with Niagara, 37-15.
• The last win for the Purple Eagles came on Feb. 24, 2018, in Poughkeepsie by the final score of 68-61.
• Niagara is 2-8 in the last 10 meetings with the Red Foxes.
