GAME 6 – Niagara (4-1-0) vs. Bonaventure (2-2-3)
NIAGARA UNIV., NY – The Niagara women's soccer team will head to Olean, N.Y., to take on Big 4 rival St. Bonaventure Sunday at 4 p.m. The Purple Eagles are currently on a four-game win streak and will look to make it five in a row against the Bonnies.
Series Notes
• Niagara and Bona will square off for the 33
rd time Sunday, with the Bonnies leading the all-time series 20-11-1.
• In the last 10 meetings, each team has five wins and Niagara is 2-3 at St. Bonaventure.
• Sunday will be the first meeting between the rivals since Sep. 9, 2018, a 1-0 overtime win for the Purple and White.
Purple Eagles Stay Hot
• Niagara won its fourth-straight match on Thursday, defeating visiting Duquesne by a final score of 2-1.

Alexis Horwedel and
Florence Vaillancourt scored for the Purple Eagles, their first and sixth goals on the season, respectively.

Felicia Grufman made three saves in goal for Niagara, earning her third win of the season.

• Vaillancourt leads the team with six goals, five assists and 17 points. The junior is also tied for the MAAC lead in goals with Quinnipiac's Rebecca Cook.
• The Quebec City, Quebec, native leeads the MAAC in assists per game (1.0), game winning goals (3), total assists (5), total goals (6) and total points (17).
• In the nation, Vaillancourt is sixth in assists per game, third in game winning goals, fourth in goals per game (1.20), second in points per game (3.40), fourth in shot accuracy (0.857), 11
th in total assists and total goals, and fifth in total points.
Niagara Notes
• With Horwedel finding the back of the net on Thursday, the Purple Eagles now have six players with at least one goal this season.
• A total of eight Niagara players have at least one assist on the year, led by Vaillancourt with five, followed by
Emma Davies and
Emma Bough with three apiece.

Annie Ibey and
Maia MacLean are tied for second on the team with three goals. MacLean leads all MAAC freshman with three tallies.
• Grufman and
Clara Bornet have split time in goal this season, with Grufman playing 253 minuts, compared to 196 for Bornet.
• Grufman leads the team in saves with 14 and has a save percentage of .824.
• Niagara's four game win streak is its longest since it won four-straight in 2018.
