LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. – The Niagara Purple Eagles won five straight singles matches to top the Rider Broncs, 5-2, on Saturday.

Doubles
  • Niagara dropped the doubles point after falling in one and two doubles.
  • The No. 3 tandem of Kirah Regales and Erika Gonzalez won 6-4 to even the doubles at 1-1, but Rider won in No. 1 doubles to take the point.
Singles
  • Niagara won five straight singles matches, all in straight sets.
  • Elena Mayet won her match in two singles to tie the match at 1-1.
  • Coral Rodriguez topped her opponent, 6-4, 6-4, in three singles.
  • Niagara's No. 1 Olga Donchu defeated Cyd Melendez, 7-6, 6-1.
  • Jaida Borg eased to a 6-2, 6-2 win in four singles.
  • Erika Gonzalez earned a 6-3, 6-2 victory in five singles.
