LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – The Niagara men's golf team is in third place after the second round of the MAAC Championships on Saturday. The Purple Eagles have a 36-hole team score of 582 (+6).
Tyler Edholm is tied for this place. He fired a 72 (E) in the second round and has a two-round score of 143 (-1).
Lincoln Cizek moved up eight spots and is tied for sixth place after the second 18 holes of play. He carded a 71 (-1) in the second round for a total score of 144 (E).
Ryan Sabo had a phenomenal second round, firing a 70 (-2). He has a two-round total score of 147 (+3) and jumped up 18 spots to finish round two tied for 13
th place.
Ben Fey moved up 14 spots in the standings between the first and second rounds. He carded a 71 (-1) in the second round for a 36-hole total of 148 (+4) and is tied for 17
th place.
Matt Pawlak is in 42
nd place. He shot an 87 (+15) in round two for a total score of 165 (+21) through the first 36 holes of play.
Niagara will play the third and final round of the MAAC Championships on Sunday, April 25.
