LEWISTON, N.Y. –
Lincoln Cizek won the Little Three Championship, becoming the first Niagara men's golfer since 2010 (Quinn Vilneff) to do so. Cizek's win earns him a berth to play in the 2021 Porter Cup this summer.
Cizek tied with Canisius' Jaret Chipman for first place; both fired a 71 (+1). The two went into a play-off on the first hole of Niagara Falls Country Club. Cizek and Chipman both parred the hole, forcing them to continue the play-off on hole two after a short weather delay caused by rain and hail. Cizek shot par on the second hole to win the individual title.
Tyler Edholm tied for fourth place. He carded a 73 (+3).
Ian Wagner tied for 14
th place with an 18-hole score of 79 (+9).
Matt Pawlak finished 19
th after carding an 81 (+11).
Ben Fey and
Ryan Sabo tied for 21
st place. They both shot 85 (+15).
The Purple Eagles finished in third place overall with a team score of 304 (+24).
Niagara closes out the regular season at St. John's April 17-18.
