NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y – Erika Gonzalez won her fifth straight match as the Purple Eagles were defeated by the IUP Hawks, 5-2, on Tuesday.

Doubles
  • Niagara was edged in doubles to drop the point.
  • The No. 3 team – Erika Gonzalez and Kirah Regales won 6-4.
  • However, IUP rallied to take two doubles and outlasted in one doubles, 7-6(5).
Singles
  • The Purple Eagles picked up wins in two and six singles.
  • Elena Mayet squeaked past Idoia Huerta, 7-6, 7-6 in two singles.
  • Erika Gonzalez won in straight sets, 7-6, 6-1.
