NIAGARA UNIVERSITY, NY – Niagara women's basketball closes out non-conference action on Wednesday, Dec. 8, when it travels to Cincinnati, Ohio, to take on Xavier. Tip-off between the Purple Eagles and Musketeers is scheduled for noon on FloHoops.
Last Time Out:
• Niagara held on for a 76-71 win over Cornell on Saturday, Dec. 1, to improve to 3-0 at the Gallagher Center.
• Angel Parker led the Purple Eagles with 18 points, seven assists, and eight steals.
• Maddy Yelle and Lore Porter also reached double-digits, scoring 12 and 11 points, respectively.
• Porter went 4-for-9 from the field, including 3-for-7 from 3-point land.
• Forwards Olivia Mason and Sydney Faulcon contributed eight and nine points apiece. Mason also grabbed six boards.
• Aaliyah Parker led Niagara with seven rebounds and two blocks.
• As a team, Niagara went 26-for-69 from the floor, including 7-for-23 from the field and 17-for-23 from the line.
• The Purple Eagles finished with 37 rebounds and 16 steals.

• Niagara has three players average more than 10 points per game, led by Angel with 14.9 points per contest. Maddy Yelle and Aaliyah are averaging 10.1 points per game.
• Aaliyah leads the team in rebounding, grabbing 7.3 caroms, followed by Olivia Mason with 5.0 boards per contest.
• Angel also leads the team in steals (4.4) and assists (5.3) per game. The junior has six games with five or more assists and three games
with four or more steals.
• Yelle is shooting at a 50.0 percent clip through seven games, making 28-of-56 of her field goal attempts this season.
• Lore Porter has been a spark off the bench for Niagara this season. The sophomore has 11 points in two games off the bench and is averaging 5.3 points per game.
• Ally Haar leads the Purple Eagles in 3-point field goal attempts (49) and makes (11). She is also the team's best free-throw shooter (min. 10 attempts), making 77.8 percent of her attempts at the line.
• As a team, Niagara averages 69.4 points per game while shooting 36.3 percent from the field. The 69.4 points per contest are second among MAAC schools.
• Niagara is second in the league in assists per game with 13.7 and first in the MAAC with 13.7 steals per contest.
• The Purple Eagles turnover margin of +2.43 is tied for third in the conference.
