Dallmann Named To All-MAAC First Team, NU Lands Program Record 17 On All-Academic Team

EDISON, N.J. – Forward Jelldrik Dallmann has been named to the All-MAAC First Team, announced by the conference on Monday.

Dallmann was a standout for the Purple Eagles this season. He scored 14 goals, setting a Division I single-season record for the Purple Eagles. He is the first NU player to score that many goals in a season since the 1970's and is the first player to score double-digit goals in a single season since Carl Haworth in 2011.

Dallmann led the NCAA in goals per game with 1.08 and in points per game with 2.23. He was tied for second in the country in total goals with 14 and tied for fourth in the country in game-winning goals with four. Dallmann finished eighth in the country in total points with 29.

Dallmann led the Purple Eagles in total shots (44) and shots on goal (23). Dallmann had four multi-goal games and scored a hat trick in NU's 4-2 victory over Canisius on Nov. 3.

In addition to announcing the All-MAAC teams, the conference also released the MAAC All-Academic Team. The Purple Eagles landed a program record 17 student-athletes on the All-Academic Team. The honorees were: Herman Aalberg, Rodrigo Almeida, Asher Barnes, Luigi Boa Morte, Nick Burke, Ricky Francisco, Rafael Freitas, Stephen Hasse, Breandan Kirwan, Yousif Kowa, Gabriel Mikina, Kevin Payne, Jayson Repine, Josh Savoni, Mikkel Thorsen, Josh Tufino and Goncalo Verissimo.
