NU Men’s Soccer Adds First Recruits For 2020

 
NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. – Niagara University men's soccer head coach Bill Boyle announced the first two players for the Purple Eagles' incoming class of 2020. Rocky Antwi and Troy Tapsell come to Monteagle Ridge as transfers, and will be immediate eligible to play.
 
Rockshell "Rocky" Antwi | Back | Accra, Ghana | Wofford College
  • Made 10 appearances at Wofford, including nine as a freshman in 2018.
  • Registered three assists in 284 minutes of action for the Terriers.
  • Two-time New England Preparatory School Athletic Council's class All-Star Team (2017, 2016).
  • All-Junior Athlete of the Year at Northfield Mount Hermon in Gill, Mass. (2016).
  • Played club for South Bronx United and Black Rock FC.
  • 2015-16 South Bronx United team MVP.
 
Troy Tapsell | Back | Auckland, New Zealand | Wisconsin-Milwaukee
  • Three-time High School Auckland champion at Sacred Heart Secondary School.
  • Two-time national champion.
  • Nike Cup Australia Winner.
  • Played club for Western Springs AFC and Eastern Suburbs Youth.
