The Niagara men's tennis team went 1-1 in matches this weekend. NU fell to Buffalo, 7-0, on Friday before bouncing back with a 7-0 win over Bloomsburg on Saturday.
 

MATCH 5

MATCH SUMMARY
Doubles

• The Bulls clinched the point in with wins in two and three doubles.
• UB won in three doubles, 6-1, before winning in two doubles, 6-2.

Singles

• The Bulls won all six singles matches, though the Purple Eagles pushed two matches to extra sets.
• Josh Wilson lost to Matthew Johnson in three singles despite winning the first set. Wilson won the first set 6-1, but dropped the next two sets, 6-3, 6-2.
• Eduardo Villalpando won the first set of his match, 7-5, and lost his second set, 6-3. The match went into a super tie break with Villalpando falling 10-5 in six singles.

• The team of Manuel Alonso and Jorge Sedeno defeated Scott Redmond and Oliver Wieseman, 6-3, in two doubles.
• In No. 3 doubles, Eduardo Villalpando and William Gothlin beat Guille Carranza and Jorge Barra, 6-2.

Singles

• The Purple Eagles won all six singles matches in straight sets.
• Darrel Harxhi beat Nagid Walle, 6-3, 6-3, in one singles.
• Jorge Sedeno defeated Robin Luetzig, 6-3, 6-1, in two singles.
• In No. 3 singles, Josh Wilson held off Scott Redmond, 6-4, 6-4.
• Manuel Alonso cruised to a 6-0, 6-2 victory in four singles.
• William Gothlin topped Jorge Barra, 6-4, 6-1 in five singles.
• Pere Padro blanked Chris Kocon, 6-0, 6-0.
