LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. – The Niagara Purple Eagles rallied to defeat the Rider Broncs, 4-3, to win their first match of the season on Friday.
 
Match Summary

• Niagara won in No. 1 doubles (Lukas Wenninger/Finnbar Adams), 6-3, but lost in two and three doubles to trail 1-0.
• The Purple Eagles bounced back in singles, winning four out of six matches. NU won in 3 through 6 singles.
• Adams defeated Peter Komosinski, 6-3, 6-1, in three singles.
• Bruno Goncalves won a three-set match in four singles.
• Brent Boleslav won 6-4, 6-2 in five singles.
• Pere Padro Parra battled to a 6-2, 7-5 win in six singles.
• Darrel Harxhi was edged in a three-set match in two singles.
