Marist Blanks Men’s Soccer In Finale

 
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Playing in its last game of the 2018 season, the Niagara men's soccer team bowed out to the Marist Red Foxes, 3-0. The Purple Eagles finished the campaign with a record of 3-15-0, earning three points in conference play with a 1-9-0 mark against MAAC schools.

  • 22' | Luca Pacheco mustered up the team's first shot attempt but had it blocked.
  • 49' | Niagara earned its first corner but couldn't get a shot away. On the ensuing counter, the Red Foxes went the length of the pitch to shoot, but goalkeeper Drew Holt was up to the task and made a save to keep it a one-goal game.
  • 90' | The first shot on target for the Purple Eagles came with the team trailing, 3-0. Pacheco put the ball on net but it was saved. 48 seconds later, Hector Solorio Villalpando placed a shot attempt wide.
