Purple Eagles Fall To The Jaspers, 1-0

NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. – The Niagara men's soccer team fell to Manhattan, 1-0, on Saturday evening.

Match Moments
  • 12' – The Purple Eagles fired off a pair of shots early, one from Luca Pacheco and one from Mbongeni Tshuma. Pacheco's shot was blocked and Tshuma's flew high.
  • 22' – The Jaspers scored the lone goal of the game, which was tapped in the right side of the net off a rebound.
  • 35' – Pacheco reeled off a pair of shots late in the first half. One was saved by the Jaspers' keeper and the other was blocked.
  • 49' – A shot from Mackenzie Roach early in the second half almost hit its mark, but it was saved by Manhattan.
  • 53' – A wide shot from Pacheco was NU's final chance of the game.
