Last Time Out
  • The Purple Eagles dropped a hard-fought contest to Marist, 84-78, on Friday, Jan. 26.
  • Victoria Rampado led the Purple Eagles with 24 points and 10 rebounds, recording her ninth double-double of the season. It was also her ninth 20-plus-point performance of the season.
  • Jai Moore and Kaylee Stroemple each added 16 points for Niagara. Jamie Sherburne had 14 points and a team-high seven assists and three steals.
 
Niagara In The MAAC
  • Niagara leads the MAAC in free throw percentage (78.3%), is second in field goal percentage (41.7%) and 3-point field goal percentage (31.9%) and is the third-highest scoring offense (66.8 points per game). The Purple Eagles are third in the MAAC in assists, averaging 14.9 assists per game.
  • Victoria Rampado leads the league in scoring with 21.0 points per game and is second in rebounding with 9.5 rebounds per game. She has the second-best field goal percentage (48.6%).
  • Jamie Sherburne leads the league in assists, averaging 4.8 assists per game. She is second in the conference in free throw percentage (87.7%).
  • Maggie McIntyre is second in the MAAC in 3-point field goal percentage (42.6%). 
 
Making History
  • Victoria Rampado's 41 points against Siena on Jan. 7 are the second-most points scored in a single game in NU women's basketball history and is tied for seventh-most in MAAC history. It is the most points scored in the MAAC this season.
  • Rampado made 17 of 23 field goals, which is the most field goals made in a single game in Niagara women's basketball history and the fourth-most in MAAC history.

On The Court
Quinnipiac Bobcats (16-5, 10-0 MAAC)
  • Forward Jen Fay leads Quinnipiac in scoring with 12.2 points per game and in rebounding with 7.0 rebounds per game. She is sixth in the MAAC in rebounding and 14th in scoring. She also has the third-best 3-point field goal percentage in the conference (39.4%).
  • Guard Carly Fabbri is third in the MAAC in assists, averaging 4.1 assists per game.
  • Forward Paula Strautmane is second in the MAAC in blocked shots with 1.7 blocks per game and fourth in steals with 2.0 steals per game.
  • The Bobcats are the highest scoring offense in the conference, averaging 69.6 points per game.
  • Quinnipiac also leads the MAAC in 3-point field goal percenatage (32.7%), blocked shots (4.5 blocks per game), assists (16.3 assists per game), steals (10.7 steals per game) and 3-point field goals made (178 total, 8.5 3-pointers per game).
