Last Time Out
  • Victoria Rampado dropped a career-high 41 points in the Purple Eagles' 73-68 victory over the Siena Saints on Jan. 7.
  • Rampado also led the team with 15 rebounds, tying her career-high, to record her MAAC-leading eighth double-double of the season.
  • Kaylee Stroemple added a season-high 20 points and Jamie Sherburne had a career-high 11 assists.

  • Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer began in 2011, when sports teams wanted a way to dispplay their commitment to the fight against pediatric cancer.
  • Youth, college and professional teams lace up in Go4TheGoal's gold laces each year to bring awareness to those children that have been diagnosed with and are fighting cancer.
  • Four dollars from every five-dollar pair of laces, as well as 100% of donations made, goes back to helping children with cancer and their families in the state the funds are raised.
  • Go4TheGoal's ultimate objectives are to improve the lives of children battling cancer by offering financial support, to help to develop unique hospital programs, fund innovative cancer research and grant children's personal wishes.
 
Making History
  • Victoria Rampado's 41 points against Siena are the second-most points scored in a single game in NU women's basketball history and is tied for seventh-most in MAAC history. It is the most points scored in the MAAC this season.
  • Rampado made 17 of 23 field goals, which is the most field goals made in a single game in Niagara women's basketball history and the fourth-most in MAAC history.
 
Third Time's A Charm
  • Victoria Rampado was named MAAC Player of the Week for the third time this season on Jan. 8 after a steallar week against Fairfield, Quinnipiac and Siena.
  • Rampado recorded double-doubles in all three games. On the week, she averaged 23.5 points per game and 13.0 rebounds per game.

On The Court
Manhattan Jaspers (6-10, 3-2 MAAC)
  • Center Kayla Grimme leads the Jaspers in scoring and rebounding, averaging 14.5 points per game and 7.1 rebounds per game. She is sixth in the MAAC in both categories. Grimme is fourth in the MAAC in blocked shots, averaging 1.3 blocks per game.
  • Guard Amani Tatum leads the MAAC in steals with 2.9 per game, is second in the conference in assists (4.1 assists per game) and has the third-best 3-point field goal percentage (43.9%).
  • Overall, the Jaspers are third in the MAAC in steals (8.1 steals per game), fourth in field goal percentage (39.1%) and 3-pount field goals made (5.9 3-pointers per game) and fifth in 3-point field goal percentage (30.4%) and assists (13.8 assists per game).
