Game Recap
- After two early saves from Niagara goalkeeper Steve Casey, James Madison took a 1-0 lead in the 14th minute as Ben Dao converted a feed from Yannick Franz.
- Just past halftime, the Dukes doubled their lead after a shot from James Madison's Niclas Mohr deflected in past Casey from six yards out.
- Franz made it a 3-0 game in the 80th minute off a feed from Mohr.
- The Niagara offense got a late chance from Matt Lopoyda, who placed a free kick shot on goal that was turned away by Dukes goalkeeper Sean Connolly.
- Casey finished with eight saves in the loss for the Purple Eagles, which matched his single game-high for saves from 2016.

- Head coach Bill Boyle: "We played a very good team tonight. We all have to do much better as a team to defend. We have shown we can do it at times over these past seven games, but there are no shortcuts, we have to find a way to do it for a full 90 minutes."
