ORLANDO –
Jackson Lizardo led the Niagara men's golf team for the third-consecutive day as the team wrapped up the final round of the 2014 MAAC Championships.
Lizardo carded a 78 (+6) to improve for the third-straight round and finish with a 237 (+21) to tie for 15
th overall. Freshman
Daniel Weimer cut seven strokes off of his second round score to card a 79 (+7) on Sunday for a 248 (+32) overall score.
Jacob Felicetti scored a 249 (+33) overall to place third on the squad.
William Lumadue's 268 (+52) and
Brendan Fiore's 271 (+55) rounded out the team scoring.
Niagara finished in ninth place with a 995 team score. With the conclusion of the 2014 MAAC Golf Championships, the Purple Eagles have reached the end of the 2013-14 season. They will be back on the course in the fall.
