History 101
  • These teams have met eight times since their first meeting on Nov. 12, 2010.
  • Niagara looks to get its first win of the season against a team it has yet to lose to. NU holds a 6-0-2 edge in the all-time series.
  • The Purple Eagles won the first three games between the two squads. They hold a 2-0-1 edge in the previous three games heading into the weekend.

Last Time Out
  • The last time these teams went head-to-head was on Jan. 4, 2014 at the John A. Ryan Skating Arena. NU found itself down a goal on three separate occasions, but tied the game each time before three unanswered goals led the way to a 5-3 win. Mike Conderman scored a pair of powerplay goals while Chris Lochner, Hugo Turcotte, and Isaac Kohls provided the rest of the scoring.

Here Are Some Notes About Us Against The Falcons
  • Chris Lochner scored his first career point against the Falcons on Dec. 3, 2011. His assist on a Jeff Hannan goal gave NU the 2-1 lead, but Bentley would later tie the game on the power play and the game ended in a 2-2 tie.
  • Mike Conderman's two goals in the matchup on Jan. 4, 2014 set a career-high for goals in a game and tied his output for most points in a game.

Hey Look, It's Jackson Teichroeb
  • Sophomore goaltender Jackson Teichroeb saw his first action of the year against AIC after missing the first six games due to injury. He posted a combined 38 saves.

The Century Club
  • Senior center Chris Lochner and senior defenseman Kevin Albers both played in their 100th career game on Nov. 1, 2014 against AIC.
  • Senior Isaac Kohls is about to join his teammates. The forward heads to Bentley with 98 games played under his belt.

Giving Them A Shot
  • Niagara faced a penalty shot in the game against AIC on Nov. 1. It was the first penalty shot faced since Dec. 3, 2011 against Bentley. The shot went wide of NU's Chris Noonan.
