Men's Soccer Plays Final Regular Season Road Game

The Niagara men's soccer team hits the road for the last time in the 2014 season when they head to Poughkeepsie, New York to face the Marist Red Foxes on Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 1:00 p.m.

Purple Eagles 101 (5-9-2, 2-4-1 MAAC)

The Purple Eagles currently sit in 9^th place in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference with 7 points on the year.
Nicholas Watson's hat trick against Iona on Oct. 18 gives him the most goals (4) and points (9) on the team.
Senior Callum Willmott is second on the team with three goals, while junior Andrew Ferguson has added two goals of his own.
Senior Jacob Ohlin, juniors Julian Ekeze and Fabrizio Chiari, and sophomore Coletun Long have all chipped in a goal on the season.

Marist has a slight edge in the all-time series between the two schools with a record of 8-10-1.
The most recent meeting between the two programs saw Niagara blank Marist 1-0 on Nov. 6, 2013 on Monteagle Ridge. Watson broke the scoreless game at the 30th minute with his third goal of his rookie season. Watson blocked a clear attempt by a Marist defender and picked up the loose back at 25 yards out. He rushed in on the goalkeeper and slipped in low, right corner shot to put the Purple Eagles ahead.
The Red Foxes tied Monmouth 0-0 in 2OT in their most recent match on Sat. Oct. 25.
On the year, Marist is 2-3-1 at home while Niagara sports a 3-5-1 road record.
