The Niagara men's soccer team continue conference play with a road game against the Fairfield Stags on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 2:00 p.m.
Purple Eagles 101 (5-8-2, 2-3-1 MAAC)
- Thanks to the Nicholas Watson hat-trick, the Purple Eagles' 3-2 victory over Iona on Oct. 18 puts them in a tie with arch-rival Canisius with 7 points in the MAAC.
- Niagara's last hat trick was from current senior Callum Willmott. The native of Iver, End. had his hat-trick on Oct. 13, 2012 against the aforementioned Canisius Golden Griffins.
- Watson's three goals against Iona now gives him the team lead with 4 on the year. The native of Greenville, S.C. also leads the team with 9 points for the season.
- Senior Jacob Ohlin, juniors Julian Ekeze and Fabrizio Chiari, as well as sophomores Nicholas Watson and Coletun Long, have all chipped in a goal on the season.

On the Pitch: Fairfield Stags (6-3-4, 3-1-2 MAAC)
- Fairfield has a slight edge in the all-time series between the two schools with a record of 4-20-1.
- The most recent meeting between the two programs saw Niagara fall 2-1 in overtime on Oct. 19, 2013 on Monteagle Ridge with Jack Welsh scoring the lone tally. Before that, Niagara won 2012's match 1-0 with an overtime goal form Bryan Da Cruz.
