EASTON, Pa. – The Purple Eagles finished the final round of the Lafayette Invitational in 19
th place on Monday with
Zach Clark s hole in one as the highlight of the afternoon.
Clark trimmed four strokes off of his first-round score to card a 94 on the day with his hole in one coming on the 16
th. He was one of four Purple Eagles to improve from Sunday’s opening round.
Kenneth Hand, who led the team with a 166;
Jackson Lizardo who was second with a 167; and
Anthony DiBacco, who turned in a 177, were the other three.
Jacob Felicetti was third on the squad with a 172.
The team’s 682 landed them in 19
th but they were one stroke behind St. Francis (N.Y.)’s 681. Lehigh won the tournament with a team score of 597.
Niagara returns to the course on April 15 when they open the Mount t. Mary’s Spring Invitational, the final tournament before the MAAC Championships in Orlando.
