Men's Golf Finishes Mount Saint Mary's Invite In 12th Place

LITTLESTOWN, Pa. – After the third and final round of the Mount Saint Mary’s Spring Invitational, the Purple Eagles finished in third place on Tuesday. 

"The team had it's final preparation for the MAAC Championship today," head coach Jeff Mietus said.  "We are looking forward to competing hard in it."
 
The Purple Eagles were led in the final round by Kenneth Hand who finished with an 82 on the day and a 250 for the round.  Jackson Lizardo was the overall leader with a 238 for the tournament after scoring an 85 in Tuesday’s round.  Jacob Felicetti turned in an 86 to finish with a 256 while Anthony DiBacco carded an 87 for a 266.  William Lumadue’s 96 gave him a 264 overall.
 
As a team Niagara remained in 12th place with a 342 round score for a 999 overall.  St. Francis (NY) scored a 356 but remained in 11th with a 985 overall.  Binghamton won the tournament with an 877 after scoring a 302 on Tuesday.
 
Niagara is back on the course for the MAAC Championships in Orlando. The tournament runs from April 26-28.
