NIAGARA UNIV., N.Y. – The Niagara men's soccer team will continue its three-game home stand on Saturday when it hosts Fairfield at 2 p.m. at Niagara Field.
Saturday's game will serve as Senior Day where three NU seniors:
Nick Garcia,
Ken Cooper and
Micah Paulino will be acknowledged prior to the game for their contributions to the men's soccer program.

Purple Eagles 101
Niagara will be looking to get back in the win column during conference play, having fallen to Siena and Quinnipiac in its two most recent MAAC contests. With six league games remaining after Saturday's contest, the Purple Eagles currently sit in 11th place.
Callum Willmott has taken over the goal-scoring duties of late for Niagara. The junior forward has three goals, and is tied with freshman
Nicholas Watson with seven points.
Brenden Ottman continues to lead the Purple Eagles with 22 saves on the season for a 1.12 goals-against average which ranks fourth in the MAAC, and a .759 save percentage, which slates him in the sixth position.
Scouting the Stags
Fairfield will come to Niagara Field with a 1-1-1 MAAC record, and a 4-3-2 overall mark. The team recently won their first league game against Canisius, 2-1.
Jon Clements and Reco McLaren lead the team with 10 points each. Clements have five goals on the season, while McLaren is not far behind with four goals, but has added a pair of assists as well.
Goalkeeper Joe Martin has two shutouts on the season, while posting a .667 save percentage and a 1.69 goals-against average.
All-Time vs. Fairfield
The Purple Eagles won last season's meeting at Niagara Field, 1-0, but Fairfield leads the all-time series 19-4-1 which dates back to the 1990 season.

Niagara closes out its three-game home stand against the Rider Broncs on Wednesday, Oct. 23 at 2 p.m. The team then kicks starts a three game road trip beginning with Iona on Saturday, Oct. 26 for a noon kickoff.
