ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. – Purple Eagles men’s golf finished the 58^th Little Three Championships with Michael Jiggins finsihing in the top-5 at the Harvest Hill Golf Course on Wednesday afternoon.

Jiggins turned in a team-leading 77 (+5) in the opening round of the 36-hole event before he trimmed four strokes off in the second tound to finish with a 73 (+1) for a fifth place finish.  Jackson Lizardo, playing in his first collegiate event, also scored a 77 in the opening 18 and a 79 (+7) in the second round to finish tied for 13th with Niagara sophomore Jacob Felicetti. 

Senior Anthony DiBacco completed the tournament in 17th place with a combined score of 164.  Marc DeGulio finished with a 164 and Kenny Hand rounded out the team with a 183.
 
The team finished the round in third place with a 625, behind St. Bonaventure's 599.  Canisius won the event with a 590.
 
The Purple Eagles are back on the course this Saturday when they head to Hamilton, N.Y. for the Colgate Invitational.
