Jiggins Ties for Fifth Place After Final Round of Leo Keenan Invite.

Final Round Results

OLEAN, N.Y. – Senior Michael Jiggins finished in a tie for fifth place overall as the Niagara men’s golf team wrapped up the second and final round of the 24th Annual Leo Keenan Invitational on Monday afternoon at the St. Bonaventure Golf Course. 

Jiggins, who began the day in a four-way tie for the fifth spot, again turned in a 73 (+3) to finish in a two-way tie for fifth with a 146 overall score.  Jacob Felicetti trimmed one stroke from his first-round score with a 78 (+8) on Monday to finish with a 157 for the tournament.  Freshman Jackson Lizardo rebounded from Sunday and posted a 77 (+7) for the round and a 170 for the event.  Marc DeGuilio and Anthony DiBacco finished with a 167 and a 172, respectively. 

As a team the Purple Eagles finished in eighth place with a team score of 630.  The University of Ottawa finished in seventh with a 316 and St. Bonaventure won with a 583.

The Purple Eagles have a break before they return to the course on October 8th to hit the road for the RMU Colonial Classic in Hopewell Township, Pa.
